At the heart of Paul Ross’s music lies a simple intention: to connect. Performing under the alias XP/XPERiMENTAL, Paul blends melodic techno and trance into powerful dance floor experiences rooted in emotion, energy, and presence. His sets aren’t just about sound — they’re about feeling.
From dusty festival grounds to intimate club nights, XP has played to crowds across Queensland, including standout performances at Rabbits Eat Lettuce (Themed Stage), Lost in Sound, Sol Vibrations, and Spring Campout, as well as regular appearances with the Distorted Imag3 collective on the Sunshine Coast. Each set is an invitation — to let go, to move, to be present.
Paul is the winner of the Diffuszed Studios DJ Competition, with his mixes broadcast globally via Ibiza Stardust Radio, Club Ready Radio, and Sweet Frequencies Radio. In 2025, he signed his first track with EML Recordings, with the release scheduled for early 2026 — a key step forward in his evolution as both DJ and producer.
Whether behind the decks or in the studio, XP plays with intention — music that moves the body, stirs the heart, and brings people together.

I’m proud to announce the release of my latest trance track, “Come Back Home,” now streaming on all major platforms worldwide.
This track carries the emotional energy that defines my sound — uplifting yet powerful, blending deep melodic layers with driving basslines and ethereal vocals. “Come Back Home” was created to capture that feeling of longing, reflection, and reunion — the moment when music brings you back to where you truly belong.
Following my classic trance set on the Mainstage at Lost in Sound’s “Jungle Fever” Festival, I wanted to release something that echoed the same connection and energy I felt with everyone on the dance floor.
This track is a heartfelt continuation of that moment — a journey through emotion and rhythm, designed for both festival stages and late-night headphones.

The track is set for release in early 2026, marking an exciting new chapter in my journey as a producer.
